In a statement shared via the ADC Vanguard X account, Obi said efforts would be intensified to ensure that votes are protected and properly counted during the polls.
He noted that individuals attempting to disrupt the electoral process, including ballot snatching, would be resisted. According to him, citizens and stakeholders are determined to safeguard the integrity of the voting process.
The remarks come amid ongoing discussions about electoral reforms and the need to strengthen transparency in Nigeria’s elections ahead of 2027.
