According to accounts, Ali, one of the Northeast's deadliest terrorist leaders, was ambushed and murdered on Sunday by ISWAP forces.

According to a security source who spoke to Daily Trust, Ali killed a number of people in Sambisa and other areas of Borno State before he was slain on Sunday.

Apart from Shekau, he was the successor to the late Ali Ngulde, who had killed people in Bayan Dutsen Gwoza and the Sambisa jungle.

He was a brutal murderer. The residents, farmers, and commuters along the Pulka, Bankin, Bama, and Gwoza Mubi roads are continuously in fear because to the foot terrorists operating in the Gwoza districts.

They don't spare any souls, and they often execute individuals on their farms. People in Gwoza will undoubtedly rejoice over his death, the source said.

Recall that in May 2021, Abubakar Shekau, a notorious Boko Haram leader, also perished in a bloody battle with ISWAP fighters.
