In a press statement made accessible to journalists in Jalingo on Tuesday, Manu made this claim in relation to his discussions with the governor over his victory in the governorship election petition tribunal.
Recall that the New Nigeria Peoples Party, or NNPP, candidate Sani Yahaya had petitioned the tribunal to challenge the governor's election, and the petition had recently been dismissed.
In the statement, Manu especially urged the NNPP to team up with the governor to promote the state's quick development.
He also advised the governor to unite all state officials, regardless of their political leanings, around his tribunal triumph for the benefit of the populace.
The Taraba State people overwhelmingly supported the governor during the March 18th 2023 governorship election, and his victory before the tribunal has confirmed that support," he continued.
Manu, the current senator for Taraba Central Senatorial District, said the governor had already begun implementing development projects in the state to demonstrate his worth to the confidence and support of his constituents.
Additionally, the governor had extended an olive branch to the NNPP, pleading with it to work with him to advance the state.
