Jennifer Dennis was a resident of Georgia when she connected with a man named Caleb over Facebook who claimed to be a doctor with the Red Cross in Yemen.

According to her account of her living circumstances to WTVD, Dennis loved the notion since "everything about the house and the area reminded me of my husband, which was just heartbreaking."
Caleb requested that she contribute the final $70,000 towards their new home after he promised to provide $600,000. According to Dennis, she also sent him $8,700 for additional expenses.
After selling their home in Georgia, Dennis and her son Raymond packed up everything they owned and headed to the Cary residence. Her son realised right away that the entire tale seemed strange.
When I noticed that someone was still living in the house and knocked on the door, I automatically knew that it was a scam,’ Raymond told the TV station.
‘The owner of the home told them he had lived in the home for years and had no intention of ever selling.
She added that after Dennis told Caleb, the latter texted her a picture allegedly depicting the alleged beating. He vanished from her life forever.Read full article
In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America on September 29, Dennis said, "I had all that money and I don't think I'll ever get it back."
Dennis lost her whole life savings, leaving her and her son without a place to live. In the car, they slept.
After that, a church member gave them a camper to reside in. Dennis stated that others should be cautioned by her narrative.
She told WTVD, "I think it's devastating for me, but it's a blessing that I have my son." So some women who are completely alone become victims of this type of scam.
