Goodluck Jonathan, a former president, has expressed sorrow at the passing of Nestor Binabo, a former acting governor of Bayelsa State.

Jonathan expressed his condolences to Binabo's family and the government of Bayelsa in a statement made available the reporters on Tuesday by his media adviser, Ikechukwu Eze.

The dead, according to him, was a seasoned lawmaker and patriot who made significant contributions to the growth of the state.

The former acting governor of Bayelsa State, Nestor Binabo, passed away, and Jonathan sent his condolences to his family, the government, and the residents of the state.

People from all areas of life will miss him terribly, especially considering his loyalty to his country and dedication to helping others.

Jonathan prayed that God would give peace to Binabo's family, who passed away recently in an Abuja hospital following a protracted illness.
