A large fire that started in a packed pub in Thailand's Sattahip district resulted in at least 13 fatalities. According to local media, several of the injured are in critical condition, and others have been transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU). As patrons crowded the Mountain B pub, the inferno broke out at one in the morning. Rescuers discovered at least nine scorched men's toilet and DJ booth area occupants, as well as four burned female bodies, among the deceased. Videos taken on the site at the time clearly show people shouting and rushing for cover as the structure catches fire and spews smoke and flames. The tavern, Mountain B, is located on Sukhumvit Road in the Sattahip district, according to Pol Col Wuttipong Somjai, the police chief of Phlu Ta Luang, who also added that all of the victims are thought to be Thai nationals. Two explosions were heard, according to an eyewitness, close to the DJ booth. Later, the fire spread throughout the entire pub because of the rooftop's soundproofing foam. Additionally, Thanyapat Sornsuwanhiran, the 26-year-old pub manager, claimed to have seen the flame on the bar's roof and assisted patrons in leaving the burning area. The pub opened about a month ago, according to Pol Major General Atthasit Kitjahan, chief of the Chon Buri police, and is well-liked by the local populace. Additionally, he said that the cause of the nightclub fire in Thailand was being looked into.
