WAFCON2022: Falcons In Battle Ready As They land in Casablanca For The Clash Cameroon.

The Super Falcons have arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of their quarterfinal matchup against Cameroon on Thursday at the current 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, according to Sports Extra.

In a tweet announcing their arrival, the Falcons' media staff wrote: "We've arrived safely in Casablanca ahead of our #WAFCON2022 quarterfinal matchup against Cameroon on Thursday, July 14.

As soon as we arrived, we were put up at the Novotel Hotel in Mohammedia.

The three group games were played at the Stade Moulay Hassan in Rabat, where the nine-time winners placed second in Group C behind South Africa, which took first place in the group with nine points.

The defending champions, however, will play their semifinal match against the Indomitable Lionesses at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca rather than Rabat because they placed second in Group C.

The Cameroonians played all three of their games there, winning one and drawing the other two to finish second in Group B behind Zambia.

While Cameroon is seeking its second victory of the competition after defeating Tunisia 2-0 in their final group match, the Falcons are hoping to make it three wins in a row after victories over Botswana and Burundi. This comes after a 2-1 loss to South Africa in their opening match.

The offence of the Falcons, which has scored the most goals (seven) in the competition thus far, will be watched closely by the Central Africans.
