TRANSFER: Romano names Chelsea player to join Juventus.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer specialist, forward Timo Werner may leave Chelsea this summer due to interest from Juventus.

Alvaro Morata is chosen by manager Massimiliano Allegri, although Werner is also being considered by Juventus, according to Romano.

He also mentioned that Werner's name had previously been brought up during Chelsea's negotiations with Juventus for Matthijs de Ligt, a defender who is currently with Bayern Munich.

On Monday night, Romano revealed this in a message sent from his Twitter account.

Timo Werner might actually leave Chelsea this summer, tweeted Romano.

"He's one of the names on Juventus' list, along with Allegri's top target Morata, and was already brought up during the de Ligt discussions," reads the statement.

Romano added that in their negotiations with Red Bull Leipzig for Nordi Mukiele, the Blues wanted to include the Germany international.

They were unable to complete the transaction, and Mukiele will now join Paris Saint-Germain.
