Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, two Nollywood actresses who were kidnapped, have set a ransom demand.
The kidnappers' communication with the families has been confirmed by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
The two disappeared on Thursday after visiting a shooting location in Ozalla, Enugu State.
Emeka Rollas, the president of the AGN, provided an update on Okereke and Cornel's situation.
"The kidnappers have gotten in touch and are requesting $100,000.
"Since the same thing is occurring worldwide, we are unsure of what to anticipate from them.
According to Premium Times, he stated, "We are also collaborating closely with the various security personnel."
