Elijah Ayodele, the Primate of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued some cautions on Sunday regarding the security situation in Nigeria.
Primate Ayodele said that Nigerians had not yet seen anything and promised that there will be more to come.
According to the priest, unless President Muhammadu Buhari changes the people in control of the nation's security, nothing will improve, according to a statement signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.
Primate Ayodele claimed that corruption in the nation's security system is one of the main causes of insecurity and predicted an attack on the governor and the kidnapping of prominent figures.
He continued by saying that security personnel would soon begin fighting across the nation and that the mother of all protests would shortly take place in opposition to these events.
However, the prophet claimed that although the nation's security condition may be improved, its terrible leaders are preventing it.
Nigerians have not yet witnessed anything, he claimed. If President Buhari doesn't replace people in charge of security, our security system already has a lot of corruption and will continue to have more.
"They will assassinate a governor and kidnap prominent citizens, and I still envision the mother of all protests erupting in response to these actions.
If Buhari doesn't manage security well, nothing will change soon and security personnel would start fighting among themselves. Our security may lead to something positive, but our poor leaders are not letting it happen.
