On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari has called an urgent meeting of his service chiefs.
This happened just 48 hours after terrorists attacked the Presidential Brigade Guards.
During a Wednesday interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, Femi Adesina, Buhari's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, confirmed the meeting.
The President has called for another security conference with the heads of the security services tomorrow, according to Adesina.
According to bendelnews Buhari was given a six-week deadline to address the nation's security problems by senators from opposition parties.
At a press conference today, the minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, urged Buhari to stop the country's terrorist attacks or face impeachment. He was joined by other lawmakers.
