Nigerians have praised a truck driver's bravery after he risked his life to save others.
Mr Ejiro Otarigho, a resident of Agbarho Town, Ughelli North, Delta State, drove a burning truck away from a heavily crowded residential area to a sparsely inhabited region to limit the harm it would create if it exploded.
The driver is shown driving the truck in a video that has gone viral, oblivious to the danger of an explosion. He took it to a wooded walk where there were no houses or stores around.
Thankfully, he survived the fire in the truck. There were no casualties.
Nigerians have praised and thanked him on social media.
