Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Super Eagles, will be in attendance when Kwara United takes on Sunshine Stars at the Ilorin Sports Complex on Sunday.
In the Nigeria Professional Football League, or NPFL, Peseiro is on a mission to find talented players.
For the international friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador, he named eight players in his first team.
Only two qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications, which will be held in Sierra Leone and Guinea-Bissau.
As part of his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation, Peseiro is required to live in Nigeria and witness NPFL games.
Both Kwara United and Sunshine Stars are vying for third place in the NPFL, which guarantees a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
