Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, has been named the winner of the primary elections for the All Progressives Congress, or APC.
The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and the former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, were his two biggest opponents. The Asiwaju of Lagos got half of all the votes, which was enough to beat them.
About 2,322 delegates from all over the country swarmed Eagles Square to choose the party's candidate for the general election in 2023.
