PLANE CRASH: All passengers and staff members on board killed.

After rescuers discovered and rescued the last body from the wreckage on Tuesday, Nepalese officials verified that all 22 persons on board the plane that crashed on May 29 were died.

Deo Chandra Lal Karn, a spokesperson for Nepal's Civil Aviation Authority, said they are waiting for favourable weather to bring the remaining bodies from the Himalayan crash site to Kathmandu.

Ten remains were flown into Kathmandu by helicopter on Monday evening, according to Lal Karn, who added that the bodies would be identified before being handed over to family members.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, the plane's wreckage was discovered at an altitude of over 4,500 metres in Sanosware, Mustang, a Himalayan district north-west of Kathmandu, more than 20 hours after it was initially reported missing.
