We want the conflict to end – Ukraine sets a precondition for negotiations with Russia.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that he is willing to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin under certain conditions.

Putin had requested a meeting with Belarus's President Zelensky.

However, the Ukrainian President refused to meet in Belarus, claiming that it was being used as a staging area for Moscow's invasion.

According to the Independent UK, Zelenskyy offered alternative locations for peace talks in an online address, including Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Istanbul, and Baku.

"Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Istanbul, Baku," says the narrator. All of them were proposed by us.

"We want to talk, we want to put an end to the war, but only in a country where missiles aren't flying," she said.

"Other locations are possible," he was quoted as saying, "but we will not hold peace talks in Belarus, which played a critical role in aiding Moscow's invasion."

President Zelenskyy demanded that Russia's voting power at the United Nations Security Council be abolished, claiming that its actions resemble genocide.
