AFCON 2021:Tunisia And Gambia Expelled

Currently taking place in Egypt, Tunisia and Gambia have been eliminated from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations competition.

On Sunday, they were defeated by Burkina Faso in the first round and by hosts Cameroon in the second round.

For the Indomitable Lions to defeat their lower-ranked opponents, they needed two goals from Karl Toko Ekambi in the second half of the game.

The victor of the quarter-final match between Egypt and Morocco will face Cameroon in the final.

Meanwhile, Burkina Faso defeated Tunisia 1-0 in a game in which teenager Dango Ouattara scored on the stroke of halftime.

Burkina Faso has reached the semi-finals of the continental championship for the third time in the last five editions of the competition. Following that, they will face either Senegal or Equatorial Guinea in the semifinals on Sunday.
