According to reports, the former model confronted Andrews after a financial expert accessed the cryptocurrency wallet using details he had allegedly provided to her.
Crypto Wealth Claim Falls Apart
Andrews had reportedly told Price that he had about $50 million (£37 million) in cryptocurrency and had promised her access to some of the money.
However, a source claimed that when the wallet was checked on August 31, it contained only about $3, equivalent to £2.22.
Price allegedly confronted Andrews in a WhatsApp message, telling him she believed he had lied about his identity and wealth.
A source also claimed Price told a friend that she had finally decided to end the relationship after becoming convinced that Andrews had repeatedly deceived her.
Andrews Denies Allegations
Andrews, 43, has continued to deny allegations made against him.
The relationship has attracted controversy, with claims from former associates and partners questioning his background, wealth and professional achievements.
He reportedly claimed to have earned an engineering PhD from Cambridge University, although reports said the university found no record of him.
He also allegedly claimed to have bought Chelsea FC and to have worked with high-profile figures including Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk.
Reports later accused him of using AI-generated images to create the appearance of connections with celebrities and influential people.
Marriage Surrounded By Controversy
Price and Andrews reportedly held a wedding ceremony in Dubai in January, although it was not legally binding. Their marriage was later formally registered on February 17 through Abu Dhabi's judicial department.
The relationship became more controversial after Andrews allegedly disappeared for several days in June.
Price reportedly launched an appeal to locate him before he was later found in prison.
Andrews allegedly told Price that he had been kidnapped at gunpoint and taken to a secret location. He also reportedly claimed he had been arrested on suspicion of espionage.
Reports, however, linked his detention to outstanding fees involving a car rental, while he has also been involved in several civil cases.
Price 'Has Had Enough'
Andrews has reportedly spent weeks at Al Awir prison and has continued calling Price, allegedly assuring her that he would soon be released.
A source claimed Price had become frustrated with what she regarded as repeated explanations and assurances from her husband.
Price is now reportedly planning to remain in the UK rather than travel to Dubai to visit Andrews, while seeking legal advice over their marriage.
She is also said to be concerned about whether Andrews could make financial claims against her following their separation.
According to reports, Price has considered documenting the events surrounding the relationship in a documentary similar to The Tinder Swindler.
The couple's relationship now appears to be heading towards divorce, although any formal legal separation would depend on the divorce process and applicable law.
