Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has emerged as a transfer target for several German Bundesliga clubs following his impressive performances for Trabzonspor.
Reports indicate that top-flight German sides including Bayer Leverkusen, VfL Wolfsburg, and Werder Bremen are closely monitoring the 31-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.
Onuachu joined Trabzonspor from Southampton FC last summer and has quickly established himself as a key player. The forward has scored 21 goals and provided two assists in 24 league appearances, making him one of the standout performers in the Turkish top division.
His goal-scoring form has also attracted attention beyond Europe. Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli Saudi FC is reportedly interested in securing his services.
Despite the growing interest, Trabzonspor are not expected to entertain offers for the Nigerian international. According to reports, the club is keen to retain him as they build their squad around his attacking contributions.
No official bids have been confirmed at the time of reporting.
