Senator Ned Nwoko has spoken publicly about what he described as an “unprovoked disturbance” in his home, allegedly involving his wife and popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
In an official statement released on Sunday, the Delta North lawmaker claimed that the incident occurred in his absence and resulted in property damage and injuries to some domestic staff. He called for calm, understanding, and professional support for his wife.
“It was chaos and destruction in my home while I was not around,” Nwoko said. “My only concern is Regina’s well-being. She needs care, support, and time to recover. I have urged her to continue her rehabilitation program so that she can find full stability again.”
The senator emphasized that his priority is family peace and safety, adding that personal matters should not become public controversies.
He urged fans and the media to treat the situation with sensitivity, saying:
“This is a family issue that requires compassion, not condemnation. We are working through it privately.”
As of press time, Regina Daniels or her representatives have not issued an official response to Nwoko’s statement.
The couple, married since 2019, have two children together and are among Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity families. The situation has generated widespread concern on social media, with fans expressing hope for resolution and calling for privacy for the family.
