French President Emmanuel Macron and Wife Brigitte Take Candace Owens to U.S. Court, Vow to Present Scientific Evidence to Silence False Gender and Identity Claims.

French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, have escalated their defamation fight to a U.S. court, preparing to present scientific evidence to counter persistent rumors spread by American commentator Candace Owens.

The Macrons filed a lawsuit in July in Delaware, accusing Owens of repeatedly claiming that Brigitte was born male, assumed another person’s identity, and alleging the couple were blood relatives. Owens also linked President Macron to fringe CIA mind-control conspiracies.

Their attorney, Tom Clare, revealed in a podcast that Brigitte Macron is prepared to undergo “uncomfortable but necessary” procedures to prove the allegations false.

“She is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight,” Clare said.

Owens has dismissed the lawsuit as politically driven, doubling down on her claims that Brigitte “is definitely a man.” Her legal team is seeking to have the case thrown out on free speech grounds.

This legal battle follows a similar case in France in 2024, where the Macrons initially won a defamation ruling against bloggers who circulated comparable claims. However, that judgment was later overturned on appeal.

The Delaware case has not yet been scheduled for trial
