The footage, which quickly made headlines nationwide, circulated on social media, showing the pair seemingly in the midst of passion, naked, and engaging in intercourse.
Both officials, who are married to other people, are now facing consequences for their actions.
One official has been immediately sacked, while the other awaits a disciplinary hearing.
The latter, referred to as "E," is a permanent employee and may also face dismissal following the hearing, according to the city's education secretary.
Local media reports reveal that the woman involved is a mother-of-one married to a lorry driver and is part of an evangelical church.
On the other hand, the man's father-in-law is a permanent professor at City Hall in Brasnorte.
