Money laundering investigations against 13 former governors and a few former ministers are being reopened by the EFCC.



The EFCC has reopened money laundering cases involving 13 former governors and ex-ministers, with amounts exceeding Continue Reading..

The investigations cover N772.2bn related to high-profile cases and an additional N81.6bn allegedly looted in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. 

Recent allegations involve $2.2bn diverted for arms procurement, implicating figures like Sambo Dasuki and Raymond Dokpesi. 

The individuals under investigation include Kayode Fayemi, Ayo Fayose, Bello Matawalle, Chimaroke Nnamani, Sullivan Chime, Abdullahi Adamu, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Peter Odili, Theodore Orji, Danjuma Goje, Aliyu Wamako, Timipre Sylva, and Sule Lamido. 

The EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, is reviewing these cases without bias to social or political status.
