The charges involve false representation of a letter from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Emefiele is also accused of conniving in forgery, with charges of conferring corrupt advantage on his wife and brother-in-law by awarding a renovation contract for the CBN Governor's residence.
The trial is set to continue on January 19.
