Additionally, a first trailer was released, featuring Imelda Staunton reprising her role as Queen Elizabeth. The trailer also included glimpses of past Queen actresses Claire Foy and Olivia Colman, paying homage to the series' journey spanning decades.

Viewers can anticipate the first four episodes of the series to premiere on the streaming platform on November 16. Following that, there will be a hiatus of nearly a month before the release of the final six episodes on December 14.

The series poster features a striking image of Princess Diana, clad in a blue bathing suit, seated at the end of a pier.

Another haunting image depicts The Queen walking alone in the shadows toward an open door.

Foy reflected on the symbolism of the crown, stating, "The crown is a symbol of permanence. It's something you are, not what you do," while footage of her in character played on a television screen to kick off the trailer. She had previously portrayed a young Queen Elizabeth in the first two seasons of The Crown.

Colman then echoed this sentiment, saying, "Some part of our authentic selves is always sacrificed. We've all made sacrifices. It's not a choice. It's a duty," as the video transitioned to a framed photo of her in character as the queen, a role she played in seasons three and four.

The trailer took a dramatic turn as it cut to Imelda Staunton in costume, serenely clasping her hands before stepping onto a balcony reminiscent of Buckingham Palace to greet an enthusiastic crowd. The series poster features a striking image of Princess Diana, clad in a blue bathing suit, seated at the end of a pier.
