Jason and Emaza Gibson's working relationship, according to Emaza Gibson, terminated after she turned down his overtures.
The 25-year-old aspiring artist claims that in addition to breaking their contract, Jason also failed to give her the chance he had previously promised.
According to People Magazine, her lawyer Ron Zambrano stated, "The threats of physical harm and unwanted sexual advances by Jason towards a young woman who is just trying to break into the industry were outrageous and illegal."
Jason's representative has refuted every accusation levelled against him. "These claims are completely false and hurtful," Jason's representative alleges in a statement provided to People magazine. I oppose all sorts of harassment and will always encourage those who are pursuing their aspirations.
He continued by saying that the singer was extremely hurt by these false accusations.
According to the court documents that the tabloid was able to get, Emaza has also named in the complaint Atlantic Records, Derulo's label Future History Inc., and his manager Frank Harris.
The singer is being sued by Emaza Gibson for sexual harassment, contract violation, and unlawful retaliation.
