In a cryptic post amid the Mohbad Contract Saga with Marlian Records, Naira Marley offers advice

According to prophet Austin Ariole, Naira Marley, the head of the Marlian record label, was not to blame for the passing of the budding talent Mohbad.

Prophet Austin Ariole serves as the General Overseer of the Goshen Freedom Tabernacle (GFT) in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State.

However, he insisted that the witches in the deceased's family were to blame for his demise.

He said these things at Effurun on Tuesday during the Upper Room team prayer meeting of the Goshen Freedom Tabernacle.

He attacked the Church, saying it was responsible for Mohbad's passing since it didn't do enough to assist the younger singer.He claimed that the Church should have been a safe haven.

"I don't like worldly musicians, but I just got interested in this one, and last night when I was praying, God showed me that Naira Marley did not kill Mohbad," he declared. He was murdered by village witches.

The prophet continued by claiming that these witches assassinated Mohbad because they were inspired by the prospect of his promising future.

While expressing concern for the family, Prophet Ariole criticized Mohbad's father, claiming that he did not do enough for his son despite families seeking refuge in the mountains for their kids.

He expressed his worry that the father's attention was being drawn away from the tragedy itself to financial worries for the funeral.
