In a sermon on Sunday, prominent Nigerian pastor and politician Tunde Bakare criticized the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, for having sex and drinking with immoral men while still alive.
The late musician, in the opinion of Bakare, General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, benefited from his activities.

At The Envoy Nation's second anniversary in Leicester, United Kingdom, Pastor Bakare spoke.
The former presidential candidate added, "My wife and I listened to a tape last night on MohBad," while speaking on the topic of "Harvest." Do you all know MohBad? the 27-year-old Nigerian artist? MohBad.
"He did not know that the harvest would come so quickly and that he would soon be put to death at the height of his youth while he was drinking, smoking, and hanging out with bad men.
I'm simply telling you; I'm not blaming him. Is MohBad a decent Name? Poor you.
A young man who is older than I am was there. He worked as a driver, going by the Name Eshu (the devil). People greeted him as Eshu everywhere he went, and he would respond to them.
When Bakare claimed, "The day he crashed the car and killed people and they threw him behind jail when he was brought out, he said 'Mee Sheshu Mee Shushu' (I am not the devil)," Bakare was referring to.
