In an old video that TG Omori published on his Instagram page, he detailed how he went to see his father and was shocked to see boys on the street come to pay tribute to him.
He said that the reason he didn't have enough cash on him was because he hasn't encountered many lads on the street since he's been seeing his father. His only source of income was for security.
Unfortunately for him, he encountered other boys in the street who begged him for money. He provided them N1000 that he had borrowed from his driver since he was short on cash.
One of the lads was unable to hide his disappointment when he learned that the director had only given them N1,000.
The man pointed out the amount when Omori sought to give him some cash, perhaps to warn him that it was only chicken change.
The man refused the money and the music director was visibly angry as he locked the door of his car.
This video once more. No proof, but I'll explain nonetheless. I visit my father on this holy day. Only the security guards at the entrance gate and on very few occasions have I ever seen lads on the street; thus, I always carry their cash and push a for them as I enter.
After I've finished seeing my father, I'm forced to go, and as I do, I see about three boys outside hailing me. Naturally, the security personnel did not instruct them to come collect their portion.
I call them back, and they demand money. OK, no problem. I tell the driver to check the cash, and he finds one thousand. I instruct the boys to use $1000 to purchase Coca-Cola instead of cash in my palm. Omo Baba turned down Amo. make I enjoy, etc. I go utilize am have fun.
