Toyin Abraham bragged that "God listens, and he rewards" as Ijakumo broke records on Netflix. Continue Reading.
As her movie, Ijakumo, breaks records on Netflix, Toyin Abraham Ajewole, a multi-award-winning Nollywood actress, has flaunted her bragging rights.
On Instagram, Toyin Abraham gave a sermon on how to speak one's desires into being and how God hears everyone and blesses them.
She recalled how Ijakumo, a play in an indigenous language produced six months earlier, shot to the top of the West African box office.
Now that her motion has occupied the top position on the Netflix streaming app for consecutive two weeks, the single mother is grateful.
Only one Nigerian film, Toyin Abraham's Ijakumo, has maintained the top rank for more than two week.
"Trust me.. whatever you want, manifest it," she wrote. Speak it into being and carry it out! God hears, and he gives benefits!
Ijakumo: The Born Again stripper, which debuted six months ago, held the top spot for Indigenous Language dramas in West Africa.
It is currently the top film on Netflix in Nigeria for two weeks running, making it the only Nigerian film to hold that position for two weeks (and counting!) in 2023. This is enormous for a non-branded, licensed movie!
Oya! Run me another bigggg check from Netflix global, Netflix Naija, Mr. Ben, Mr. Moses, Mr. Kene, and Filmone.
