EPL:Javier Tebas urged Premier League to penalize Manchester City for potential financial rule violations.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, has urged the Premier League to penalize Manchester City for allegedly breaking financial rules.

Cities could face a variety of penalties if they are found guilty of infringing more than 100 rules.

The penalties could range from a fine or a loss of points to relegation.

Tebas has maintained that the English champions should be punished for their alleged transgressions.

"It concerns the Premier League's honor and reputation.

During the Financial Times Business of Football Summit on Wednesday, Tebas told reporters that "your capacity to acquire sponsorship and sell television rights is impacted by your global reputation."
