Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, a Nigerian filmmaker and the creator of the African Movie Academy Awards, has passed away.
She reportedly passed away in a hospital in Lagos State.
Ayiam-Osigwe, who served as the president of the Association of Movie Producers, is said to have passed away while still in a coma.
Obi Emelonye, a colleague of hers, said on Tuesday that she had passed away.
"Thank you and good night dada Peace," he wrote with the photo when he shared it.
