Breaking: Chelsea Owner, Todd Boehly steps down.

Todd Boehly, a co-owner of Chelsea Football Club, has resigned from his position as the Blues' interim Sporting Director.

The role of club president has been delegated to Christopher Vivell and Paul Winstanley by the proprietors of the club.

The two individuals will be in charge of monitoring transfer activities going forward.

After Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech stepped down from their positions in the summer, American millionaire Boehly assumed control of the organization.

The owners of the Blues have begun the process of hiring a new management team, and as part of that process, they have appointed Vivell to the position of technical director and Winstanley to the position of director of global talent and transfers.

According to a story in The Telegraph, Boehly's role at Chelsea has been reduced to that of the club's chairman, and Vivell and Winstanley will now be in charge of the Blues' transfer strategy.

They were prominent in Benoit Badiashile's recruitment and appeared in photos with him once he was signed.

Joe Shields, the co-director of recruitment and talent, and Laurence Stewart will be joining the partnership as a third member of the team.
