Controversial Actor Yul Edochie of Nollywood recalls the abuse he faced after wishing well-known crossdresser Bobrisky on his birthday.
The controversial Nollywood actor posted it online and said that he had sent birthday wishes to the crossdresser, whose birthday fell on the last day of August.
His social media DMs had been flooded by trolls who claimed he was having an affair with the transgender woman.
Yul said that because individuals are not God, it is improper for them to judge others.
He stated:
"Earlier this year, I put Bobrisky's photo on my Instagram profile to wish him a happy birthday. And at that point, my page exploded and caught fire. By the time I returned, I had received tens of thousands of comments on the article, and my direct messages had also been inundated. I actually received a DM from someone accusing me of having a sexual relationship with Bobrisky. simply because I posted a happy birthday message to him on my Facebook.
"Someone even gave me a call and asked me to take down the post. Some even told me about how God wiped down Sodom and Gomorrah. What about God? To demolish Sodom and Gomorrah, did God send you?
Do not judge others; you are not God. Like all other people, Bobrisky is a member of the human race. Why do we treat individuals unfairly? All of these should be stopped. God commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves.
