There are "likely no survivors" when two planes crashed in midair and landed on a farm after the accident.
It is believed that the collision took place over a farm near Kybong, which is located in the state of Queensland in Australia.
It has already been established that the collision that occurred between a glider and the plane that it was towing resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
Those who were there say they were shocked to see debris descending from the sky.
In Australia, a midair collision between two planes results in multiple fatalities.
According to 7News's reporting, a witness stated that they heard a "huge blast" as debris was falling to the ground.
They added in an interview with the journal, "When we looked up, we saw white chunks of plane coming out of the sky, and we believed that didn't sound like a gunshot."
The individual who was given the responsibility of investigating the case, Brad Inskip, stated that "the evidence is pointing towards the notion that both aircraft likely had a single male occupant, and both guys are deceased.
It's still very early on, and we don't have a lot of information, so we can't say for certain whether or not there was a collision in midair, but we will investigate the potential.
