EPL: If you respect my career, you won't put me on for three minutes against Tottenham- ronaldo tells ten hag.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, claims Erik Ten Hag "provoked" him into leaving the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

This assertion was made by the 37-year-old in the second segment of his TalkTV interview with Piers Morgan, which was broadcast in the UK on Thursday.

Ronaldo added that Ten Hag's refusal to play him against Manchester City and subsequent decision to substitute him for three minutes against Tottenham made him feel insulted.

You respected my career by not starting me against Man City, but you want to start me for three minutes against Tottenham?

It's incomprehensible. I believe he intended to do it. Not just because of the game, but even earlier, I felt provoked.

He doesn't treat me with the respect I deserve. However, it is what it is. This is most likely the reason I exited the game against Tottenham," Ronaldo remarked.
