It has been claimed that the instant messaging service WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is currently unavailable.
It is presently impossible for WhatsApp users in Nigeria to send or receive messages while using the service.
A few minutes after 8:00 on Tuesday morning, there was an outage reported for WhatsApp.
