PCC urges NOI polls to stop contaminating our political system with bogus data.

The NOI polls limited has been urged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council to quit contaminating the democratic system with careless, unreliable, and biassed surveys.

The results of the nationwide surveys taken in early September indicated that Peter Obi, the Labour party's candidate for president, will win the 2023 election.

In a statement released on Thursday, the council's director of media and publicity, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, claimed the ruling party was unconcerned with what it called the "dubious" NOI polls.

It claimed that the NOI's polls produced bizarre and unbelievable permutations for the presidential race.

"The attention of the APC Presidential Campaign Council has been brought to a survey performed by the NOI polls which produced wild and implausible permutations on the presidential elections," it said.

"Our study shows that NOI Polls have been off the mark during crucial election periods in recent times, thus we are unconcerned by these shady and inaccurate figures,"

The APC PCC claimed that NOI had selected the favoured candidate and had chosen to present him to Nigerian voters using fabricated, dubious figures.

The statement continued, "We know, in reality, who the owners of NOI are and where their political interests lie, and we desire to advise NOI to cease fouling the political system with careless, unreliable, and biassed research so that we do not expose the puppeteers pulling its strings.

According to the PCC, the ruling party was operating all required apparatus to win the federal elections by a margin that would be impossible to challenge.

According to the statement, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party's nominee, received the most votes of any senator in the nation while running for the Social Democratic Party in July 1992, and he would do it again on February 25, 2023.
