Omo-Agege has been asked to make sure that the Urhobo slots are given out fairly.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the Senate's vice president, has been asked to intervene in order to provide a level playing field in the bidding process for a pipeline surveillance contract in the urhobo region.

Ex-agitator and head of the Abuja chapter of the Urhobo Youth Council, General Peter Aghogho, made the request, stating that the Senator should make sure that all urhobo stakeholders were included in the project.

He pleaded with the Senator to include Eshanekpe Israel aka Akpodoro, a son of the Urhobo and a former militant leader, in the distribution of the urhobo slot, noting that Akpodoro had tirelessly worked with other key stakeholders and the former Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai to convince the Avengers (a militant group) to abandon their threat to resume hostilities in the Niger Delta region.

During Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai's tenure as Chief of Army Staff, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a. Akpodoro (Ex Militant commander), and Chief Michael Johnny performed critical roles.

Urhobo youths should not be ignored. Again, the administration has investigated the desires of the youth in our region, and it is only reasonable that everyone be included.

I would want to use this occasion to request that Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege convene a meeting at which Eshanekpe aka Akpodoro, the Mayor of Urhobo Land, would be asked to share his thoughts on how to best allocate the Slots allotted to his country.

It's only right that the former commander of the militant group in Urhobo country, Eshanekpe Israel, also known as Akpodoro, be given a ride. If this doesn't work, we'll have to take matters into our own hands and take to the streets in a show of discontent.
