Commotion as native doctor rose from the dead and walks out of the casket.

A man allegedly a native doctor resurrected from the dead as he was ready to be buried, causing a disturbance among the residents of Gidan Angalu village in Toto Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.

A medical professional allegedly declared Godwin Ugeelu Amadu, 59, dead at a private hospital about 6 am on September 5, 2022, and he was then brought into the morgue.

It was discovered that the local doctor had given instructions for his children that he must be buried within three days of his death and that he must not be embalmed with formalin. The family was waiting for the arrival of his oldest son, Mr. Jacob Amadu, who is stationed in Abuja.

After his son arrived, the funeral arrangements were finished in two days, but the deceased native doctor surprised many by rising from the coffin immediately after it had been taken to the cemetery for burial. This caused fear among the mourners.

The local doctor became famous overnight as a result of his well publicized "resurrection" two days after it was determined that he was dead.
