 Somewhere in Lagos state, a day-old infant was discovered in a trash can wrapped in a plastic bag.

The police command's spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, claimed that the infant would have perished if not for swift detection. The newborn was saved and is doing well, he claimed.

An infant less than a day old was discovered in a trash can, wrapped in a polythene bag. Baby would have perished if not for swift discovery. Little one is doing well. Don't become pregnant. Compared to killing the child, it is better. It's illegal to kill infants!
