Wike can’t kill PDP, where was he in 1999-Atiku's Camp.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar's supporters claim that the party will not accede to the unreasonable and "selfish demand" of the governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike.

This was communicated by supporters of Atiku when they gathered on Tuesday in Abuja to discuss a long-term solution to the party's internal squabbles.

Confidential remarks from a senior PDP official in Atiku's camp claimed that Wike was underestimating the strength of the North and insisted that the party wouldn't deconstruct its leadership as a result of the Rivers governor.

We won't tear down our leadership system at this time due to Wike, the individual who was present at the meeting said. What is his goal? The Vice President of the PDP is from the South.

Isn't that reasonable? If they are insisting that the South must provide the President, then in the sake of equality, the Southeast should be chosen instead of the West. Unfortunately, he is accompanied by Ortom, Makinde, and Ikpeazu.

Ortom is with him for financial reasons," he said. Like Wike, Makinde has been successful in upsetting PDP officials in Oyo.

He has injured a lot of people. He might not be able to run for reelection if he is not careful. If the APC nominates an unpopular candidate, he will only prevail.

Wike cannot eliminate PDP. What did he do in 1999? He underestimates the North. He is unaware that the North is observing his words and deeds. And they will pay him according to their terms.

We won't accede to his self-centered demand. What is his goal? Although he is already acting anti-party, we won't take action since we favour peace.
