Mustapha Yakubu, a young guy, killed himself by drinking a toxic chemical thought to be Sniper insecticide at Angwan Gwari Kwamba in Niger State's Suleja Local Government Area (LGA).
An empty bottle of the substance and a suicide note were discovered in Yakubu's room after his death.
A neighbour, Jegede Badmus, reportedly exhibited the suicide note on his phone, which reads: "Sorry. I end up being this way.
According to Badmus, Yakubu's family removed his body for burial in accordance with Islamic customs.
He said, "He was good to everyone, so when we learned what had happened, we were all stunned.
I'm curious as to why he would have taken such move. someone who was just beginning their lives. He is not even 30 years old.
"His relatives in Suleja came to the scene as soon as the discovery was made and took his body for burial. It was crystal clear that the case involved suicide.
The dead man was recently scammed, according to a local who asked that his identity not be published.
