Elisha Tari, a 25-year-old man, has revealed why he stoned his two kids to death at his house.
Recall that Elisha was detained by the Adamawa State Police Command after they discovered that he had stoned two of his kids, who were 3 and 5, to death.
The suspect revealed that he has a psychological condition and had previously been chained while being paraded on Monday.
I consume wine, smoke Indian hemp, and take snuff. I don't use any strong drugs, including tramadol, he declared.
The mother of the murdered children had been away from her marital home for two months, and Tari attempted to bring her back but failed.
He claimed that on that tragic day, the deceased children came up to him as he was preparing dinner and he asked them, "When is our mother coming home?"
He claimed that when he asked them to say "God," they responded with "fire," and they kept repeating "fire, fire," in place of God.
He claimed that this enraged him and caused him to choose stones to strike the kids.
"Their behaviour annoyed and infuriated me, and as a result, I picked up stones and struck them on the heads till they died," Tari continued.
