Following Man City's 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace, Guardiola had this to say about Haaland

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, claims that Erling Haaland's hat-trick in his team's comeback victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday came as no surprise.

Haaland, according to Guardiola, earned his goals by maintaining his composure throughout a subdued first half against Crystal Palace.

With Bernardo Silva's goal and three goals from Haaland, Guardiola's team defeated Crystal Palace 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium after falling behind 2-0 at the half.

Guardiola praised Haaland in his post-game news conference, adding that because of his consistency in front of goal, Man City will always have a chance to win even when they are down a goal.

Regarding Haaland's hat-trick, Guardiola stated, "I would say kudos to me for my fantastic ideas, but I would say Erling has done this since he was born."

"Always scored goals, whether it was at Salzburg or BVB (Borussia Dortmund). He has a fantastic sense of goal against these deep-defensive clubs. The last goal in particular, and first goal as well, are terrific goals.

I'll tell you the statistics, we scored a lot of goals in past seasons, he continued. We scored a lot of goals, but it wasn't at the level of the talent we have. Our current issue is that we concede far more than we did in the past.

There is plenty of time. We currently find it difficult to undertake the uncomfortable things we need to do, but we still avoid them. It's crucial to win the game and take the lesson to heart.
