Buhari: We'll speak the language the terrorists understands.

Security personnel are to search for terrorists inside Nigerian borders, per directives from President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Buhari, security personnel are required to track down and communicate with terrorists in their own tongue.

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Partners hosted the Citizens Summit for National Integration, Peace, and Security in Abuja.

Terrorists would be driven out of Nigeria, according to Buhari, who was speaking on behalf of the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

He pledged to effectively combat terrorism and banditry throughout the nation.

He declared: "Peace and security are gradually being restored to the nation. We have ordered the troops to destroy those terrorising our population.

You must have heard in the last few days how many terrorists the military has killed and how many hostages have been set free.

"We must confront the terrorists head-on and show that there is nowhere for them to hide within the boundaries of our nation.

Each of them will be sought out, pursued, and spoken to in a language that they are comfortable with.
