Ebubeagu: Union vows to barricade Imo government house with 'killed' youths.

Residents of Imo Condition are in a state of palpable terror due to a plan by the Imo Traders Union (ITU) to blockade the state government building with the bodies of young people who were purportedly killed by the security company Ebubeagu.

According to bendelnews, since some wedding guests were allegedly shot and killed by Ebubeagu operatives, there has been instability in the state.

According to reports, Ebubeagu agents killed some young people on Sunday, July 17, as they were returning to their village of Otulu in the state's Oru East Local Government Area following a wedding ceremony.

The Department of State Security, or DSS, in Imo State, admitted responsibility for the incident a few days earlier, in contrast to the eyewitness accounts.

The victims, according to the secret police, were members of the insurgent Eastern Security Network and the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) (ESN).

In a statement condemning the event, the ITU's Chairman, Comrade Damian Ikechukwu, stated that the planned protest at the Government House will continue until the resignation of the state governor, Hope Uzidinma.

We will blockade the Imo State government building in protest with the bodies of the 21 killed youths, and we won't stop until Governor Hope Uzodinma steps down from her position as governor of Imo State, according to the statement.

"In a democracy, the people hold the political sway, and we are well prepared to reclaim that sway.

"We advise the governor of Imo State to respectfully resign as governor, but failing to do so will result in widespread protests led by our young.
