Actor Prince Abuchi Ikpo from Nollywood was discovered dead in his Asaba apartment in Delta State.
On Tuesday, DSP Bright Edafe, the state's police public relations officer, verified his death.
According to Edafe, the actor was killed at his home and kept in a room until his body was discovered.
"The body was discovered on Monday at his flat in Asaba's Jesus Save neighbourhood.
They murdered him and imprisoned his body within the mansion.
The PPRO said there were few details at this time.
