Residents of the Adara community in Kaduna State's southern region claim that about 32 people were killed in an alleged terrorist attack aided by a helicopter, which razed houses in the area, including the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).

More bodies were discovered in the bushes around the villages attacked by terrorists in helicopters, according to Adara leaders.

"The pogrom against the Adara nation rages on," Awemi Maisamari, the National President of the Adara Development Association (ADA), said yesterday.

On Sunday, June 5, 2022, the villages of Ungwan Gamu, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Sarki, and Maikori near Maro in Kajuru Local Council were attacked.

"As villagers search the surrounding bushes for more bodies this morning (Wednesday), the death toll stands at 32. This morning, seven bodies were discovered decomposing."

According to him, the attack began around noon and continued unabated until around 6:00 p.m., when the state intervened. Fulani terrorists on 150 motorcycles, each carrying three armed men, carried out the attack.

DSP Mohammed Jalige, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), did not return calls from The Guardian seeking comment on the Adara attack.
