According to Manchester United CEO Richard Arnold, the two persons accused of leaking information from the dressing room have already left the club.
On Saturday, Arnold confirmed this in a leaked video in which he was speaking with a group of admirers about last season.
He called the season a "f**king horror" and discussed his summer transfer plans.
The level of information from the club that was leaked to media sources was a noteworthy drawback and source of aggravation for United last season.
In the dressing room, there were frequent reports of unease.
"The two sources of the leaks have now departed the club," Arnold said in response to that assertion.
Although the identity or function of those involved was not revealed, the statements show that the club felt confident in their knowledge of the perpetrators.
Following the expiration of their contracts, six players have already left Old Trafford. To help cut down a bloated first-team roster, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Lee Grant, Juan Mata, and Edinson Cavani have all left.
